About Arnhem

Space for various activities
Arnhem is the capital of the province of Gelderland and a city with an active business community with a stimulating economical climate. Arnhem is part of the city region Arnhem-Nijmegen which has in total 730.000 residents. The region has approximately 35.000 companies that offer work to 323.000 people.

Space for nature and culture
Arnhem is situated in the centre of a green area with on one side the Hoge Veluwe and on the other the forelands. Partly because of this Arnhem has been chosen Greenest City of Europe. The many parks and several natural areas also contributed to this. Arnhem has also made a name for itself in the field of culture. ArtEZ college for the arts plays a very important role in this. The Arnhem Fashion Biennal is an event of world fame and the Museum for Modern Arts is also renowned in the art world.

Space for past and future
Arnhem has a rich and eventful past which can be traced back throughout the city. The Rhine Bridge, the Maarten van Rossum House and the Sabelspoort are only a few examples. Underneath the shopping streets are 40 medieval cellars that give a good impression of life in those days. And from afar you can see the impressive Eusebius Church with its 73 metres high tower. The city has many (international) schools, colleges and is close to the campus of Wageningen University. So the surrounding area of the industry park has lots of space for both the past and the future.
